Gilding brush
Gilding brush is made of soft hair from a squirrel tail as it is a special tool for working with gold leaf or silver. The light material may break to pieces by the slightest movement of a hand. So the gildershould be very careful and should take gold only with this tool, because there is no other brush which can gently catch, hold and apply a thin gold sheet without damaging. The squirrel hair is glued between the cardboard leaves, and on the outside there is a short rectangular handle made of durable and wearproof leather.
